Job Duties:
- Provide outstanding customer service to staff via multiple communication channels.
- Respond to, document, diagnose, and resolve user technology issues across different locations.
- Escalate complex issues to relevant technology staff or third-party vendors as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records and asset register, managing user administration tasks.
- Ensure new staff have all required IT equipment and setups before their start dates.
- Address password and user account issues and systematically respond to system failures.
- Analyse technology issue trends to identify recurring problems and propose preventive solutions.
- Seek quotes, place orders, and configure new hardware and software installations.
- Maintain documentation and stock levels for IT equipment and consumables.
- Regularly review and document technology policies, procedures, and maintenance plans.
- Plan and execute scheduled maintenance and support system testing with third-party vendors.
- Assist in implementing internal IT projects and manage day-to-day technology governance.
- Participate in business continuity and incident response exercises.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a relevant IT role.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications and ITIL Foundation certification are beneficial.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and current technology trends.
- Hands-on experience in end-user desktop support, ideally with remote support skills.
- Broad understanding of technology infrastructure, security, and vulnerability management.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
- Aligned with company values and able to adapt to its mission.
- Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 11.
- Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, including meeting room conferencing.
- Familiarity with cyber security, ITIL processes, DLP, vulnerability management, and Microsoft Azure.
