Manager, Funds & Corporate

Our client is seeking an experienced Manager for their Funds and Corporate team in Guernsey. This full-time, permanent role involves leading a small team within the corporate division, supporting a portfolio of clients, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Job Duties:

  • Lead and manage Shareholder Services and Valuations & Administration staff.
  • Review and organise workload within the team, ensuring efficient task completion.
  • Attend client and board meetings, providing expert advice and support as needed.
  • Contribute to internal operational, management, and compliance meetings.
  • Review valuations, investor communications, and manage distributions.
  • Authorise transactions, including payment of invoices and other expenses.
  • Liaise with clients, property managers, and other relevant parties.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate time billing records, updating the system daily.
  • Display and adhere to corporate values in all aspects of your role.
  • Provide guidance, support, and development to team members as part of line management responsibilities.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior funds and corporate role, with expertise in administration, governance services, fund accounting, and financial statement preparation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant accounting, legal, and regulatory matters for funds under administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and accounting platforms.
