Manager, Transfers & Distributions, Employer Solutions

Our client is seeking a dedicated Manager for the Transfers and Distributions team within the Employer Solutions division. This permanent, hybrid role focuses on delivering exceptional service to plan members and overseeing a team responsible for handling benefit distributions. The successful candidate will provide coaching and mentoring to up to five direct reports, manage member queries, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Click here to read more

 

Job Duties:

  • Oversee and review all distribution, transfer, loan, and pension payment requests.
  • Mitigate risks within the team and ensure adherence to processes.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with UHNW and HNW individuals, focusing on client retention.
  • Liaise with intermediaries to conclude transactions efficiently, ensuring all necessary paperwork is in place.
  • Source legal and tax advice as needed and act as the main point of contact for advisors.
  • Respond promptly to participant queries and provide regular client updates.
  • Document trustee decision-making and maintain regular communication with other Employer Solutions teams.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with direct reports, providing feedback and support.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and company policy obligations.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in people management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in employee benefits or trusts is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional client service.
