Job Duties:
- Support the Trust Manager in managing administrative and clerical responsibilities within the team, ensuring service levels and business standards are met.
- Accurately record time spent on cases, meeting billing targets.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and intermediaries, identifying and communicating business development opportunities to senior staff.
- Monitor and maintain regulatory compliance and best business practices within the team.
- Review investment and financial reports for approval by Managers or Directors within agreed timelines.
- Contribute to staff training and development, providing fiduciary knowledge to team members.
- Act as cover for the Trust Manager during their absence.
- Undertake a minimum of 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development annually and maintain evidence of this.
- Perform additional duties relevant to the role as required.
Job Requirements:
- At least five to seven years’ experience in fiduciary services.
- Qualified or near completion of a professional qualification such as STEP Diploma or equivalent (NVQ4 or higher).
- Comprehensive knowledge of fiduciary services practices.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships professionally and effectively.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Capability to supervise staff and contribute to their development.
- Commitment to undertaking professional qualifications and continuous development.
