Installation Technician

Our client is seeking a practical and motivated Installation Technician to join their expanding team. This full-time position offers the chance to work across Guernsey and Jersey, installing, maintaining, and servicing safe access equipment, storage solutions, edge protection, handrails, barriers, and flood defence systems. The role requires working at height, using hand and power tools, and occasional off-island travel. Job Duties: 

• Install, maintain, and service equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work at height and handle installations safely, following detailed plans and method statements.
• Operate hand and power tools effectively and responsibly.
• Attend training sessions locally and in the UK to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent solutions and service to clients.
• Travel to Jersey approximately four to five times per year for short-term projects.

Job Requirements: 

• Comfortable working at height and not afraid of heights.
• Practical skills and experience using hand and power tools.
• A full, clean Category B driving licence.
• Forklift truck (FLT) and Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) licences (training provided if required).
• Eagerness to learn, develop, and embrace new challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
