Temporary Senior Payments Administrator - 12 Months

Our client is seeking a Senior Payments Administrator for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in the Isle of Man. This role is open only to candidates with residency and the right to work in the Isle of Man. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payments, handling exceptions and queries, administering products, and meeting stakeholder needs across various channels. This position also involves supporting the manager with workflow management, distributing workloads, and mentoring junior team members to deliver exceptional customer service. 

 

Job Duties:

  • Process and book foreign exchange transactions efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to Operations Management.
  • Manage inward and outward payment queues in support of the manager.
  • Participate in and resolve queries related to payment investigations.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Secondary/High school/A-levels/Matric qualifications.
  • 3–4 years of experience in general banking.
  • Behavioural competencies, including attention to detail, adaptability, adherence to procedures, teamwork, and time management.
  • Technical competencies, such as business intelligence, client relationship management, operations risk management, and problem-solving abilities.
