Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Trust Officer to join their Guernsey team. The role involves managing a portfolio of Trust, Company, and Private Client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery. You will work closely with Trust Managers and Directors to oversee complex client matters, maintaining meticulous records, and establishing effective communication with clients and intermediaries.
Job Duties:
- Administer Trust, Company, and Private Client relationships per relevant terms of engagement.
- Make distributions to beneficiaries and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Draft trust and company minutes and correspondence for clients.
- Maintain and update client due diligence records.
- Conduct annual Trust and Company reviews.
- Prepare and file documents, including annual validations, using efficient filing techniques.
- Liaise with settlors, beneficiaries, investment managers, bankers, and lawyers.
- Assist with company secretarial functions, including share transfers and director/secretary record updates.
- Support Directors, Managers, and Administrators with projects and ad hoc assignments.
- Prepare meeting documents for client meetings.
- Maintain knowledge of company secretarial, compliance, and anti-money laundering practices.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified, part-qualified, or willing to study for STEP, ICSA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Proven experience in trust administration.
- Strong organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including electronic filing and flexible database usage.
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.
