Our client is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented professional to join their Private Client Services team as an Assistant Manager. The role involves managing the administration and accounting needs of high-net-worth individuals, supporting their investment and philanthropic activities. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional client service, adhere to regulatory requirements, and work collaboratively with colleagues to meet the highest standards of service delivery.
Job Duties:
- Administer the accounts and needs of high-net-worth individuals and their associated investments.
- Manage client correspondence and respond promptly, escalating complex matters when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Identify the need for professional advice and escalate issues or uncertainties.
- Ensure tasks and client requests are organised and addressed efficiently.
- Prepare meeting minutes, attendance notes, and other required documents.
- Monitor aged debt positions and collaborate with the Accounts Department to manage them effectively.
- Conduct periodic client matter reviews in line with internal schedules.
- Mentor and support junior staff, providing guidance under the Manager's supervision.
- Undertake technical transactions and projects proactively.
- Assist during periods of absence by providing necessary briefings and maintaining service standards.
Job Requirements:
- Educated to A level or degree standard.
- Professional or relevant qualifications (completed or in progress) are desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in trust and company administration or financial services.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge in the current area of expertise.
- Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and IT proficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- A solution-driven approach and the ability to manage dynamic client requests.
- Strong time management and organisational abilities.
- Commitment to continuing professional education.
