Our client is seeking a professional and detail-oriented individual to join their Fiduciary department as a Closing Case Officer. Job Duties:
- Dissolve companies or terminate trusts through asset distribution.
- Develop and execute plans for transferring assets to alternative service providers.
- Review due diligence and tax information to progress closures.
- Update tax authorities and registrars’ records in compliance with regulations.
- Raise termination fees and adjust fee profiles appropriately.
- Appoint liquidators or lawyers to prepare termination documents.
- Liaise with beneficiaries or recipients of transferred assets.
- Ensure the accurate transfer of assets and finalise fee processes.
- Facilitate the re-registration of assets with new providers and confirm compliance.
- Wind up non-operational ("dry") structures through cost-effective termination methods.
- Maintain data accuracy in the NavOne system throughout the closing process.
- Ensure all compliance, CDD/KYC, and fee supervision processes are followed.
- Complete internal checklists and follow safe custody and archiving protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and industry requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
- Understanding of business processes, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven planning, organisation, and time management skills.
- Reliability and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.
- Awareness of strategic and commercial aspects of fiduciary operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change effectively.
