Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Manager / Senior Trust Officer to oversee the day-to-day administration of a diverse fiduciary client portfolio. This client-facing role involves managing private and corporate relationships, including complex cases requiring hands-on administration. The successful candidate will also provide leadership, support, and development for one experienced administrator and an additional support role, ensuring deadlines are met and team performance is optimised.
Job Duties:
- Delegate work and clarify deadlines for the team.
- Provide support and guidance to team members, answering queries and addressing challenges.
- Conduct six-monthly appraisals and contribute to the professional development and progression of the administrator.
- Perform day-to-day administration for a client portfolio, ensuring all client needs are met.
- Act as an authorised signatory for the business.
- Manage client relationships, dealing directly with clients and providing an initial escalation point for any issues.
- Deliver regular reporting information to Directors.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as required.
- Support the new business take-on process for the fiduciary business line.
Job Requirements:
- Strong leadership and delegation skills.
- Ability to manage and develop team members effectively.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience in fiduciary client administration, including private and corporate structures.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within the fiduciary sector.
- Problem-solving ability and capacity to handle complex cases independently.
