Assistant Manager / Senior Trust Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Manager / Senior Trust Officer to oversee the day-to-day administration of a diverse fiduciary client portfolio. This client-facing role involves managing private and corporate relationships, including complex cases requiring hands-on administration. The successful candidate will also provide leadership, support, and development for one experienced administrator and an additional support role, ensuring deadlines are met and team performance is optimised. Job Duties:

  • Delegate work and clarify deadlines for the team.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members, answering queries and addressing challenges.
  • Conduct six-monthly appraisals and contribute to the professional development and progression of the administrator.
  • Perform day-to-day administration for a client portfolio, ensuring all client needs are met.
  • Act as an authorised signatory for the business.
  • Manage client relationships, dealing directly with clients and providing an initial escalation point for any issues.
  • Deliver regular reporting information to Directors.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as required.
  • Support the new business take-on process for the fiduciary business line.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and delegation skills.
  • Ability to manage and develop team members effectively.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in fiduciary client administration, including private and corporate structures.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within the fiduciary sector.
  • Problem-solving ability and capacity to handle complex cases independently.
