Our client is seeking a Trust Manager to lead a team of relationship managers and administrators while managing a portfolio of client relationships. Job Duties:
- Managing, delegating, and overseeing the team’s routine processes, including: Cash management, exercise of discretionary powers, review and monitoring of investment portfolios and providing management information to senior management
- Ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Providing exceptional client service and acting as the primary relationship manager for selected clients and intermediaries.
- Monitoring and meeting team utilisation targets and ensuring timely invoicing and payment.
- Tracking aged debtors for the team and ensuring follow-ups are conducted for payment.
- Identifying opportunities to develop relationships and cross-sell services.
- Supervising and developing the team, including: setting SMART objectives, conducting performance appraisals and managing performance
- Completing review comments compliance (RevComps) and diarising follow-up actions.
- Contributing to achieving a satisfactory or better audit rating.
Job Requirements:
- A relevant professional qualification such as STEP, ICSA, or ACCA.
- Strong knowledge and experience in offshore trust and company administration.
- Excellent personal organisation and time management skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of client service excellence and business development.
- Experience in successfully managing a team and meeting billing and cash collection targets and deadlines.
- Good understanding of Guernsey’s regulatory environment.
- Willingness to travel at short notice.
