Trust Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Supervisor to join their private wealth and corporate services team. This role involves managing a portfolio of private wealth relationships, delivering exceptional service, and supporting the Trust Manager in overseeing a team. The successful candidate will provide technical and managerial guidance to junior staff, enhance operational efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of client relationship management.

 

Job Duties:

  • Manage and maintain client relationships, ensuring high service standards and adherence to KPIs.
  • Oversee and prioritise workloads, meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Liaise with other departments on accounting, taxation, and operational matters.
  • Offer technical support to junior staff on complex client relationship issues.
  • Develop relationships with intermediaries and service providers.
  • Review trust and company accounts as well as financial reports.
  • Attend meetings with existing and prospective clients and intermediaries.
  • Seek opportunities for new business and cross-selling across the group.
  • Monitor financial and economic developments to identify client needs.
  • Understand and adhere to legal, regulatory, and risk management policies.
  • Proactively identify and report risks and potential issues.
  • Ensure timely resolution of client complaints.
  • Assist with training and development of team members.
  • Participate in appraisals and performance reviews.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and undertake continuing professional development.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge and proven experience in offshore fiduciary services.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex fiduciary issues.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and general financial practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, staff, and intermediaries.
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
