Consulting Trainee x 2

Our client is seeking two motivated individuals to join their team as Consulting Trainees. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates looking to begin a career in consultancy, with full training and development provided. The role is full-time and based in Guernsey, with an immediate start available, though flexibility is offered for graduates finishing university in September 2025. As a Consulting Trainee, you will support the delivery of consultancy services across a range of clients, including insurance companies, charitable trusts, and pension schemes. You will develop problem-solving, mathematical, and communication skills while contributing to consulting projects. The position offers opportunities to specialise in investment consultancy, insurance, or other areas, with full support towards obtaining a relevant professional qualification.

Job Duties: 

• Assist in the production of advisory reports and presentations.
• Liaise with clients, advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage tasks efficiently to ensure successful project delivery.
• Represent the company professionally in interactions with clients, investment managers, and other third parties.
• Develop expertise within a specialist team, such as investment consultancy or insurance.

Job Requirements: 

• Strong problem-solving abilities and mathematical skills.
• An A Level in Mathematics is essential.
• A relevant degree (2:1 or higher) is generally expected.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and email.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently after initial briefing, as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Previous experience in a financial services office environment is advantageous but not essential.
