Our client is seeking a Trust Officer to undertake the administration of trust and company structures while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, external advisors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality client service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing trust and company documentation, liaising with relationship managers and wealth planners, and maintaining accurate client records.
Job Duties:
- Administer trust and company structures under supervision.
- Liaise with wealth planners, trust relationship managers, and client advisors on administration matters.
- Assist in reviewing documentation for new business.
- Arrange meetings and prepare trust and company minutes and resolutions.
- Review corporate documentation and coordinate related meetings.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate client data.
- Collaborate with internal control functions and external advisors as required.
- Identify and escalate fiduciary and AML risks.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks as directed by senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and standards.
Job Requirements:
- A relevant professional qualification or working towards one e.g. STEP.
- A minimum of three years’ experience administering trust structures.
- Knowledge of trust and company laws.
- Understanding of AML regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to excellent client service and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant systems and technology.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach.
