Manager, Private Clients

Our client is seeking a highly experienced professional to join their Private Client team as a Manager. This role requires a minimum of eight years’ trust and company administration experience and offers a unique opportunity for business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administration of a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing a team of administrators to deliver high-quality service.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the administration of a portfolio of trusts, companies, foundations, and other entities.
  • Oversee new business take-on, from enquiry through to New Business Committee approval.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and address action points from Compliance Committee meetings.
  • Monitor and manage risk exposure by enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to team members on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Oversee the billing process and manage aged debt effectively.
  • Attend client and professional adviser meetings as required.
  • Act as an Authorised “B” Signatory in accordance with company policies.
  • Contribute to departmental projects to enhance client service and operational efficiency.
  • Manage team KPIs to ensure profitability and high service standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of eight years’ experience in trust and company administration.
  • Holding a “Table B” qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of trust, company, and foundation administration, along with an understanding of tax implications.
  • Proven supervisory and management experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage and mentor staff, ensuring professional development and succession planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and colleagues.
  • Business development skills, with the ability to build and maintain a network of intermediaries.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, solution-driven approach and the ability to make decisions within corporate policies.
