Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Administrator to join their Internal Finance department on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves providing financial administration support across the organisation, with a focus on internal financial reporting, debt collection, cash flow management, and bookkeeping. While the position is at the Senior Administrator level, candidates with additional experience may be considered for an Officer-level role.
Job Duties:
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end internal reporting and financial statements.
- Support debt collection, cash flow management, and expenditure analysis.
- Perform general administrative duties within the finance department, including bookkeeping support.
- Maintain accurate records of time and fee transactions.
- Liaise with colleagues regarding timesheets and disbursements.
- Obtain approval for expense invoices and draft payment instructions.
- Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis.
- Communicate with clients and associates as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of the timekeeping system.
Job Requirements:
- At least two years’ experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of finance administration tasks.
- Working towards or interested in obtaining a relevant qualification, such as FIA or CAT.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving ability, with support and direction as needed.
- Commitment to teamwork and delivering excellent client service.
