Our client, a growing fiduciary and fund administration business, is seeking a Senior / Trust Officer to join their team. This full-time role, based in St Sampson, offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of trust, company, and limited partnership structures. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, intermediaries, and internal teams to ensure high-quality administration services.
Job Duties:
- Administer a designated portfolio of client entities, including trusts, companies, and partnerships.
- Liaise with clients, bankers, brokers, and professional advisers.
- Maintain statutory records and prepare company secretarial documentation, including minutes, resolutions, and agreements.
- Oversee statutory filings, annual validations, and Beneficial Owner Register submissions for Guernsey Registry.
- Provide support to other administrators and directors as required during absences.
- Prepare and process payments, ensuring all necessary documentation, screening, and approvals are completed.
- Act as a B Signatory on payment authorisations.
- Monitor internal and client-specific email inboxes, ensuring relevant actions are taken.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in offshore trust and company administration.
- STEP qualification (or working towards it) or willingness to undertake studies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively.
- Good knowledge of trust and company administration, with an understanding of legal and accounting aspects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
- Experience with Acumen and M-Files is advantageous but not essential (training provided).
