Compliance Executive

Our client is seeking a Compliance Executive to join the Risk and Compliance Department. Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Manager, this role will support in ensuring the business meets its regulatory and compliance obligations. The Compliance Executive will assist with various compliance activities across the second and third lines of defence, providing an excellent platform for professional development within the compliance function.

Job Duties:

• Support the completion of the Compliance Monitoring Programme and contribute to its ongoing improvement.
• Gather, analyse, and maintain client due diligence data for existing clients in line with regulatory requirements.
• Complete business risk assessments under the direction of the Risk & Compliance Manager.
• Monitor sanctions and alerts against the mortgage customer database, reporting where necessary.
• Keep the business updated with relevant regulatory news and information.
• Assist with compliance-related projects, including policy and procedure updates, thematic reviews, and other ad hoc tasks.

Job Requirements:

• A keen interest in compliance and risk management, with an eye for detail and an analytical mindset.
• Previous experience in compliance or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
• A commitment to upholding high standards and maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and development.
