Executive Director

Our client is seeking an experienced Executive Director to provide high-level technical advice and strategic oversight across Private Client, Funds, and Corporate services. This role involves identifying and mitigating risk, developing business opportunities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the company's strategic direction, overseeing client relationships, and supporting business growth.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with Directors and Senior Management to drive business strategy, identify and implement planning and project opportunities within the existing client base to generate additional revenue, and act as a central point of reference for complex tax, technical, and procedural queries.
  • Ensure efficient resource allocation for client structuring and risk management, oversee the implementation of new procedures to improve operational efficiency, and develop and maintain client relationships while seeking new business opportunities.
  • Lead and motivate staff, ensuring training and development on technical matters, represent the business at client meetings, signing sessions, and industry events, and travel to London and other key locations to develop business relationships.
  • Oversee the management of new client relationships and ensure smooth onboarding, define and oversee the company’s strategic objectives and policies, and ensure the company’s activities align with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Manage and oversee assigned risks in line with the Enterprise Risk Statement, participate in board-level decision-making and appoint senior management, and promote a culture of compliance and corporate governance across the business.

Job Requirements:

  • A relevant professional qualification.
  • At least ten years’ experience in a senior leadership role, with a focus on Private Clients.
  • Strong understanding of Jersey statutory laws, regulatory frameworks, and Anti-Money Laundering legislation.
  • Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience serving on client entity boards.
