Manager, Client Services, Corporate

Our client is seeking a Manager, Client Services (Corporate) to join their growing Governance Services team in Jersey. This role involves managing a portfolio of corporate and fiduciary clients, ensuring high-quality administration and client service. The successful candidate will support the development of a motivated team, providing technical guidance and training.

Job Duties:

  • Administer a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring effective relationship management.
  • Act as a role model, supporting the development of highly proficient administrators.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members.
  • Manage client expectations and nurture valuable relationships to enhance the firm’s reputation.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring timely processing of work.
  • Maintain high service levels across the client portfolio, addressing issues promptly.
  • Adhere to internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Compliance team to ensure accurate client due diligence and up-to-date client reviews.
  • Support data accuracy and maintenance within the corporate services practice management system.
  • Assist with annual client entity reviews.
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly billing process and monitor outstanding fees.
  • Maintain required Continuing Professional Development (CPD) levels.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in corporate administration.
  • A relevant professional qualification (such as STEP or CGI).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft desktop software.
  • Experience with specialist software, such as Document Management Systems and Viewpoint, is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive and flexible approach.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Ability to work independently.
