Assistant Manager, Fiduciary

Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their friendly team. This entry-level management role will be responsible for overseeing a complex portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality trust and company administration services. The successful candidate will support managers and directors in delivering professional, compliant, and efficient corporate administration while also mentoring and supervising junior team members.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee the administration of a complex portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to administrators on trust and corporate administration matters.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train administrators, offering technical support and performance feedback.
  • Ensure timely billing of clients, completion of internal audits, and monitoring of accounts receivable.
  • Contribute to management reports related to billing, collections, audits, performance appraisals, and database administration.
  • Maintain accurate business intelligence records, including client contact details and business development activities.
  • Communicate regularly with team members regarding regulatory and procedural updates.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment and provide input on staffing, promotions, and performance management.
  • Deputise for the Manager during periods of absence.
  • Work closely with other business functions, such as Compliance, to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in trust and company administration.
  • Hold a relevant professional qualification, such as ICSA (Advanced Certificate in Corporate Governance) or STEP Diploma in International Trust Management.
  • Strong understanding of trust and corporate administration principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to provide mentorship and guidance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and honestly while promoting a positive team culture.
  • Strong decision-making skills, empowering the team to improve client service.
  • Adaptable and able to react quickly to change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of ViewPoint, AdEx, and FileSite would be advantageous.
  • Excellent client relationship management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
