Temporary Marketing Manager - 11 months

Our client is seeking a Temporary Marketing Manager for an 11-month contract to support strategic marketing and communications initiatives. The role focuses on enhancing brand visibility, driving engagement, and supporting business growth through various marketing channels. Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality marketing services aligned with the wider business strategy.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain a structured communication process to ensure high-quality task completion by key deadlines.
  • Act as the key point of contact for the Marketing and Communications Director regarding briefings and upcoming projects.
  • Oversee the delivery of marketing analytics on a quarterly basis, providing insights for senior leadership.
  • Support the development of the marketing strategy in alignment with the organisation’s five-year business plan.
  • Assist in shaping and implementing PR strategies at a local, UK, and global level.
  • Develop and manage a planned local media schedule, fostering strong relationships with editors and advertisers.
  • Provide marketing support for community engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate values and ethics.
  • Collaborate with recruitment marketing colleagues to drive effective employer brand positioning.
  • Ensure high standards for events and sponsorships, maintaining brand consistency.
  • Work closely with tax, advisory, and assurance teams to promote the organisation’s expertise.
  • Contribute to internal communication projects to reinforce key behaviours and brand reputation.

Job Requirements:

  • Professional marketing qualification (degree level or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in marketing, with a strong track record of delivering successful campaigns.
  • Effective leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work within strict brand compliance standards.
  • A combination of creative and analytical abilities.
  • Adaptability to work across diverse marketing functions.
  • Willingness to travel between locations as part of a cross-island team.
