Senior Administrator, Trust & Corporate

Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Trust and Corporate team in Jersey. This role is key to the administration function and contributes to the overall success of the business. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of trusts, companies, and other entities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while maintaining high standards of client service. The role requires strong relationship management skills to meet and exceed client expectations.

Job Duties:

  • Administer a varied portfolio of trusts, companies, and other entities
  • Manage client relationships, including attending and preparing for meetings as required
  • Ensure statutory records, registers, and returns are accurately maintained and submitted
  • Prepare minutes, resolutions, and correspondence in line with company procedures
  • Ensure all client requests and correspondence are handled efficiently and professionally
  • Complete client take-on documentation and liaise on the handover of new clients
  • Keep the Compliance team informed of client changes such as service amendments or director appointments
  • Supervise and assist in training junior staff, providing feedback and identifying training needs
  • Adhere to AML and compliance requirements, reporting any concerns as necessary
  • Support internal projects and complete administrative duties as required
  • Ensure accurate time recording within the billing system

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience, ideally within fiduciary services
  • Holding or willingness to undertake a relevant professional qualification (e.g. STEP, ICSA, ACCA)
  • Strong understanding of corporate and trust structures
  • Knowledge of Jersey AML legislation relevant to the role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work with the ability to work independently
  • Effective time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills
  • Basic understanding of trust and company accounting, including double-entry bookkeeping
