Officer, Regulatory Maintenance

Our client is seeking a Officer to join their Regulatory Maintenance team within the Supervision division. This permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week) involves processing regulatory maintenance tasks for all regulated and registered entities, collecting and collating statistical and financial data, and acting as the first point of contact for related queries. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining Jersey’s position as a highly regarded International Financial Centre by ensuring regulatory obligations are met effectively.

Job Duties:

• Identifying, escalating, and following up on risks to protect and enhance Jersey’s financial integrity
• Monitoring the team mailbox and allocating workloads to meet agreed processes, SLAs, and KPIs
• Ensuring accurate data entry, record-keeping, and analysis to support risk-based decision-making
• Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory responsibilities are executed effectively
• Identifying and implementing improvements to internal processes and procedures
• Supporting team members through coaching, feedback, and quality assurance processes
• Deputising for the manager when required to ensure continuity of support

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Proven track record of delivering results through teamwork
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Understanding of financial services and products, including financial statements
• Motivation for continuous learning and professional development
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work
