Our client is seeking an ambitious and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee a portfolio of complex fiduciary structures while providing leadership to a team member. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career, with an interest in managing challenging portfolios and progressing within the industry. Hybrid working is available, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week.
Job Duties:
- Administer a portfolio of complex fiduciary structures, ensuring high standards of service and compliance
- Ensure all administration aligns with up-to-date tax and legal regulations, working closely with client managers and directors
- Manage client relationships, liaising with beneficiaries, investment advisers, bankers, auditors, and legal professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client entity files, including meeting minutes and transaction records
- Oversee invoicing, fee management, and debt collection in a proactive and timely manner
- Support the team lead with management responsibilities and contribute to strategic projects
- Supervise and mentor a junior team member, delegating tasks effectively while ensuring professional development
- Provide technical guidance to the team and ensure best practices are followed
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with fiduciary structures, escalating where necessary
- Ensure compliance with FATCA, CRS, and audit-related processes
- Stay informed about industry developments, including regulatory changes and market trends
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in a regulated finance or professional services environment
- Strong organisational skills with supervisory experience
- Interest in managing complex portfolios and progressing in the industry
- STEP, ICSA, or another relevant professional qualification
- Strong IT skills, including familiarity with trust administration systems
- Commitment to professional development and excellence in client service
