Our client is seeking a Trust Associate Director to support the senior leadership team in overseeing client-facing activities and ensuring alignment with business strategy and culture. This role involves managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, driving business development, and providing technical and managerial support to the wider team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for client servicing, from onboarding new clients to maintaining statutory records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job Duties:
- Ensure high-quality service to clients, intermediaries, and stakeholders to maintain long-term relationships.
- Interact directly with clients, managing communication and statutory maintenance of client portfolios.
- Identify client needs and business development opportunities to expand the client base.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure client commitments are met to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
- Support senior leadership in business development activities, including generating and converting new client opportunities.
- Oversee the onboarding of new clients, ensuring service levels are exemplary.
- Monitor and control work-in-progress (WIP), ensuring prompt fee collection and highlighting revenue opportunities.
- Maintain statutory records and company registers, ensuring all filings are completed within deadlines.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the client portfolio, escalating issues as necessary.
- Provide technical and professional coaching to team members, ensuring they are up to date with regulatory, legal, and tax changes.
- Lead, mentor, and support Senior Managers and Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Act as a key point of contact for technical queries and provide guidance on complex fiduciary structures.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience working with high-net-worth clients and complex fiduciary structures.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service and drive team performance.
- Experience in business development and converting new client opportunities.
- Strong technical knowledge of fiduciary structures and the regulatory environment.
- Familiarity with accounting and financial statement review processes.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and managerial experience at a senior level.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge, prioritise, and influence effectively.
- Relevant professional qualification (such as STEP, ICSA, ACCA, ACA, or similar).
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
