Our client is seeking an Assistant Trust Manager to take administrative responsibility for a complex portfolio of trusts, companies, and other wealth structures. This role involves delivering high-quality client service, identifying and mitigating risk, and supporting the management of a team through training and coaching. The successful candidate will ensure the effective delivery of client commitments and contribute to business development opportunities.
Job Duties:
- Manage a complex portfolio of trusts, companies, and other wealth structures, ensuring first-class service.
- Provide technical and administrative support to the team, ensuring high standards of client service.
- Identify client needs, enhance service levels, and explore business development opportunities.
- Assist in managing the team by providing constructive performance feedback and supporting professional development.
- Conduct periodic performance appraisals for team members to facilitate their growth.
- Ensure client commitments are met to agreed deadlines and to a high standard.
- Identify and mitigate risk across the portfolio, escalating issues where necessary.
Job Requirements:
- 5-6+ years of experience working with high-net-worth clients and complex fiduciary structures.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent client service and manage technical and complex transactions.
- Strong technical knowledge of fiduciary structures and an awareness of industry developments.
- Experience in training and coaching team members to develop their skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Relevant professional qualification (such as STEP or ICSA or similar).
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent.
- Commitment to maintaining Continued Professional Development (CPD) in line with qualifications.
