Our client is seeking a Trainee IT Support Technician to join their team in Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver or someone looking for a career change, with no prior experience required. The role involves providing IT support to clients while developing technical skills through a comprehensive training programme, including access to professional qualifications.
Job Duties:
- Answer telephone calls and respond to helpdesk emails/tickets in a timely manner.
- Assist clients with day-to-day IT issues and troubleshooting.
- Follow, update, and create company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Manage client expectations to ensure service delivery commitments are met.
- Identify and report recurring IT issues to improve system performance.
- Accurately record information within the correct business tools.
- Provide professional, helpful, and confident communication across all platforms.
- Support the team in meeting internal and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Contribute to improving customer service and client satisfaction.
- Adapt to the fast-paced nature of the IT industry.
- Undertake additional duties as required by the line manager.
