Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join their Human Resources Operations team in Jersey. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day transactional tasks within a busy Human Resources department, ensuring a smooth employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams, including Recruitment, Payroll, and Business Partnering, to support onboarding, employee changes, and compliance processes. This is a full-time position with hybrid working available (four days in the office, one day from home).
Job Duties:
- Manage global onboarding processes, including issuing contracts, immigration requirements, pre-employment vetting, and scheduling inductions.
- Process employee leavers, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed.
- Monitor and record employee sickness, escalating concerns as needed.
- Coordinate work permit and visa renewals.
- Administer long service awards and professional qualification requests.
- Process Human Resources invoices, ensuring correct coding and approvals.
- Handle employee changes such as promotions, transfers, secondments, and working hours adjustments.
- Respond to reference requests and support student schemes and placements.
- Generate ad hoc reports from the Human Resources system.
- Provide first-line support on Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Develop an understanding of practice areas and jurisdictions to support Human Resources operations.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Highly organised with strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Previous administrative experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A diplomatic, friendly, and team-oriented approach.
