Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to support accounts payable and payroll operations within the Global Finance team. Based in Jersey, this role reports to the Accounts Payable Team Lead and involves processing payments, invoices, and financial data across international subsidiaries. Job Duties:
- Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts, ensuring accurate data entry into accounting systems.
- Pay vendor invoices and reconcile bank account balances.
- Verify the accuracy of business accounts and report any discrepancies.
- Assist in reconciling month-end accounts payable and supplier accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and support the preparation of annual accounts.
- Assist the global finance team with administrative duties.
- Support the Payroll Specialist in processing payroll for multiple international locations, including the UK, Spain, Poland, Canada, and Jersey.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in financial services or a finance team is advantageous.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, invoice processing, and staff expense claims.
- Experience with international transactions and foreign exchange is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet deadlines.
