Our client is seeking a Client Compliance Administrator to join their newly established Client Compliance team. This full-time position is based in Jersey and will support the Funds Services business. You will assist with day-to-day compliance activities, monitoring and reporting for a variety of client entities, while also helping to analyse new legal and regulatory requirements and ensure ongoing alignment with industry standards.
Job Duties:
- Provide support to the client entity Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)
- Perform monitoring and reporting for a range of client entities
- Support the testing and effectiveness of AML/CFT systems and controls using a risk-based approach
- Draft AML Manuals and related risk assessments within required timeframes
- Assist in preparing regulatory reporting for delivery to client entity boards
- Support the management and development of AML/CFT processes, including reviewing local regulatory websites and identifying updates for the Compliance Manager
- Maintain logs of regulatory correspondence, updates, and other key registers
- Promote a culture of compliance by embedding risk management principles into daily activities
- Assist in analysing new legal and regulatory requirements to identify areas where policies and procedures may need development or improvement
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of systems, controls, policies, and procedures related to regulated client entities
- Experience in a compliance or risk role is preferred; experience in a regulated business is essential
- Understanding of the Jersey Private Fund Guide and its implementation
- Exposure to regulatory matters and interaction with regulators, auditors, or other external stakeholders
