Trust Officer

Our client is seeking a Trust Officer to join their busy international Trust Department on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to support a varied portfolio of clients through general trust and company administration, payment processing, and compliance-related duties. You will work across multiple jurisdictions, liaising with different business areas to deliver an integrated service while developing your professional skills and gaining valuable exposure across the private wealth sector.

Job Duties:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by acting as a primary point of contact
  • Undertake new business administration, including client acceptance and documentation
  • Support trust and company administration duties for client structures
  • Process payments and handle banking matters efficiently and accurately
  • Communicate with internal departments to assist with compliance and corporate governance requirements
  • Maintain and develop banking relationships to facilitate onboarding and account management
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure client expectations are met
  • Assist with regulatory and statutory tasks related to trust and corporate entities

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience within trust and corporate services
  • Ideally qualified or working towards a STEP qualification
  • Strong understanding of trust and company administration, including statutory and regulatory aspects
  • Good understanding of general compliance matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive with strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development
  • High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism
  • Adaptable, emotionally resilient, and confident in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, 'can do' attitude and a team-oriented mindset
