Administrator, Global Capital Markets

Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their expanding Global Capital Markets team on a permanent, full-time basis (35 hours per week), with hybrid working options available. As part of the largest Capital Markets administration team in Jersey, the successful candidate will support a diverse portfolio of structured finance and capital markets clients, including SPVs, securitisations, and debt listings across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves end-to-end administration of entities, participation in board meetings, and mentoring junior colleagues.

Job Duties:

  • Administer a varied portfolio of capital markets structures, ensuring effective client management
  • Prepare board packs, minutes, resolutions, and attend client board meetings as required
  • Review legal documentation and financial statements, liaising with accountants and auditors
  • Manage incorporations, dissolutions, and all associated onboarding and offboarding requirements
  • Prepare payment packs and ensure accurate maintenance of statutory records and correspondence
  • Produce and submit statutory returns within deadlines
  • Support and guide junior team members by delegating tasks and offering technical assistance
  • Administer charitable and purpose trusts, including the processing of annual charitable distributions
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client documentation and uphold data integrity
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency across tasks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues
  • Accurately record time spent on client matters to support invoicing processes

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar administration role within capital markets or corporate services
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and use initiative
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Working towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICSA or STEP)
  • A proactive, forward-thinking approach with a commitment to service excellence
  • Confidence in reviewing legal and financial documentation
