Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Fiduciary Accounting team on a full-time basis. This position sits within a dedicated specialist team that supports regulated fiduciary businesses across Private Client Services and Fund Services. The successful candidate will provide bespoke reporting and accounting services to administration teams and, where appropriate, directly to clients.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and/or review management accounts and annual financial statements for a variety of entities and structures
- Act as a key point of contact for fiduciary colleagues and clients across Private Client Services and Funds
- Oversee and ensure the smooth progression of annual audits for clients where required
- Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance to teams within the fiduciary business
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the accounting team
Job Requirements:
- A recognised accountancy qualification, or relevant demonstrable experience
- Strong client focus with a proactive approach to delivering high-quality service
- Commercial awareness and a methodical approach to managing risk and spotting opportunities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A team player who contributes to knowledge sharing and supports the development of others
