Our client is seeking an experienced Private Banker to join their team in Jersey on a full-time basis. This role involves managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, family offices, and professional clients by delivering a personalised and proactive banking service. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to offer a wide range of tailored financial solutions and ensure exceptional client experience across the full spectrum of banking services.
Job Duties:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, family offices, and professional clients
- Provide access to banking services including current and savings accounts, FX, debit cards, real estate and Lombard lending, investment trading, custody, and asset finance
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through proactive relationship management
- Generate internal referrals and new business opportunities across the wider organisation
- Introduce clients to strategic wealth management partners where appropriate
- Deliver tailored financial solutions based on client needs
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including timely completion of reviews and transaction monitoring
- Organise and attend banking and industry events to enhance client relationships
- Lead and support ad hoc projects as required
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in managing high-net-worth clients and professional relationships
- Strong understanding of banking and financial services products, particularly lending solutions
- Knowledge of the Jersey market, including local industries and competition
- Relevant qualification (e.g. CFP, IAD, STEP) or a Bachelor’s degree
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisation, planning, and time management capabilities
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
