Our client is seeking an In-Flight Supplies Agent / Ground Support to join their Ground Support team at Guernsey Airport. This full-time, airside role operates on a rolling 4-days-on, 4-days-off roster, alternating between early (06:00–18:00) and late (10:30–22:30) shifts. The successful candidate will play a vital part in preparing aircraft for departure by ensuring all onboard products and supplies are ready and available.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and set up Electronic Point of Sales equipment for each departing aircraft
- Respond to requests from Cabin Crew, supplying necessary items promptly
- Provide ice and hot water to aircraft as required
- Restock sales trolleys and supply boxes onboard
- Maintain accurate stock records using a computer system
- Accept, check, and rotate stock from suppliers
- Keep the storage area clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
- Meet inbound flights to supply ice, uplift waste, and ensure adequate onboard provisions
- Conduct stock checks in vehicles and monitor stock levels
- Communicate low stock and operational needs to management
- Allocate responsibilities to casual staff when supervisors are unavailable
- Operate heavy machinery and assist with passengers requiring special mobility support (PRMs)
- Follow all relevant Health & Safety and Standard Operating Procedures
- During late shifts, replace stock on final flights, uplift potable water, and secure stock rooms
Job Requirements:
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Capable of handling operational challenges quickly and efficiently
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-motivated and professional, with a flexible approach to work hours and duties
- Comfortable using various equipment and basic computer systems
- Able to provide a full five-year reference history
- Must hold a basic police clearance (satisfactory to the employer)
- Full, clean driving licence required
- Willingness to comply with uniform and airport regulations
