Our client is seeking a Lending Mortgage Specialist to join their front office lending team on a full-time basis. Job Duties:
- Manage client interactions, responding to queries and reviewing mortgage and loan applications within agreed service levels
- Provide exceptional client service across email, telephone, and in-person communications
- Act as a credit advisor, assessing client structures and offering tailored lending solutions
- Review and renew existing loan facilities
- Present lending cases to the credit committee
- Support other Lending Officers with facility approvals and completions
- Collaborate with Credit Risk, Credit Operations, and other departments to ensure all facilities align with risk strategies
- Maintain a strong risk culture in lending submissions, product design, and portfolio reviews
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement in the lending process
- Contribute to the achievement of lending targets
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance, banking, or lending
- Willingness to study towards relevant qualifications, such as CeMAP
- Strong administrative capabilities with attention to detail
- High levels of speed, accuracy, and reliability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and co-operative attitude
