Our client, a long-established fiduciary services provider, is seeking a Client Services Associate to join their Guernsey office. This is a full-time position responsible for managing a team of trust administrators and overseeing a portfolio of complex international trust and corporate structures. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in both operational delivery and client development, acting as a key liaison for high-net-worth clients and intermediaries. Occasional travel may be required.
Job Duties:
- Manage a portfolio of international trusts and companies, ensuring high standards of administration
- Lead and mentor a team of trust administrators, supporting their development and casework
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, and intermediaries
- Coordinate non-routine transactions, engaging with wealth planners and senior management where needed
- Drive business development from existing clients, their networks, and professional advisers
- Support training initiatives, service quality improvements, and best practice implementation across teams
- Deputise for senior management when necessary
- Represent the firm at client and intermediary meetings both locally and internationally
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in fiduciary services, with a strong background in trust and company administration
- Professional qualifications from STEP or the Governance Institute
- Demonstrated expertise in complex trust and corporate structures
- Strong technical ability to interpret and apply legal, tax, or investment advice
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and inspire team members
- Commercially minded with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of responsibility, reliability, and work ethic
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage pressure and competing priorities
- Confidence in networking and developing internal and external business relationships
- Willingness to travel for business development and relationship management
