Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. The role involves supporting a varied client portfolio and managing routine and more complex transactions under the direction of senior colleagues. The successful candidate will provide oversight of client onboarding, supervise junior staff, and contribute to the smooth running of client administration while ensuring compliance with internal processes and procedures.
Job Duties:
- Deliver high-quality administrative support to a varied client portfolio with minimal supervision
- Manage routine transactions and assist with complex matters, including document summaries and overviews
- Oversee onboarding processes and collation of KYC documentation under supervision
- Supervise and delegate tasks to junior team members, providing training and support where required
- Maintain up-to-date client task lists and report outstanding items at team meetings
- Prepare and review general correspondence including emails and letters
- Liaise with clients, advisers, bankers, and third parties such as lawyers, auditors, and investment managers
- Coordinate and minute client meetings as required
- Manage transactions including property acquisition/disposal and refinancing activities
- Maintain accurate corporate records and database entries in accordance with internal policies
- Collaborate with the accounts team to meet client deadlines and monitor WIP and recoverability
- Review and circulate client invoices and monitor team compliance with time recording procedures
- Provide constructive feedback during appraisals and support probation and development reviews
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the finance industry
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to support, develop, and coach junior colleagues
- Experience managing client relationships and complex transactions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of KYC and due diligence procedures
- Currently studying towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICSA or equivalent)
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date AML training and participating in internal development programmes
