Junior Trust Officer

Our client is seeking a Junior Trust Officer to join their organisation on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an entry-point role into the trust and fiduciary sector, offering excellent training and development opportunities. You will be supported with comprehensive on-the-job training and professional qualifications to help build a long-term career in trust and company administration. The role provides exposure to a wide range of tasks and is ideally suited to someone with a proactive approach and a willingness to learn.

Job Duties:

  • Assisting with the set-up and maintenance of statutory records
  • Supporting the preparation and recording of director and trustee meetings
  • Assisting with general trust and company administration tasks
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new trust and company structures
  • Conducting open-source media research and assisting with KYC risk screening
  • Helping with statutory and risk reviews for trust and company entities
  • Assisting with trust and company closures
  • Inputting bank payments for authorisation
  • Supporting day-to-day bookkeeping duties
  • Answering and making telephone calls as required
  • Carrying out photocopying, scanning, and other administrative tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

  • A-Levels at grades A* to B or an undergraduate degree in any subject
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise work, use initiative, and work independently when required
  • Excellent written English
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
