Our client is seeking a Junior Trust Officer to join their organisation on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an entry-point role into the trust and fiduciary sector, offering excellent training and development opportunities. You will be supported with comprehensive on-the-job training and professional qualifications to help build a long-term career in trust and company administration. The role provides exposure to a wide range of tasks and is ideally suited to someone with a proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
Job Duties:
- Assisting with the set-up and maintenance of statutory records
- Supporting the preparation and recording of director and trustee meetings
- Assisting with general trust and company administration tasks
- Supporting the onboarding process for new trust and company structures
- Conducting open-source media research and assisting with KYC risk screening
- Helping with statutory and risk reviews for trust and company entities
- Assisting with trust and company closures
- Inputting bank payments for authorisation
- Supporting day-to-day bookkeeping duties
- Answering and making telephone calls as required
- Carrying out photocopying, scanning, and other administrative tasks as needed
Job Requirements:
- A-Levels at grades A* to B or an undergraduate degree in any subject
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise work, use initiative, and work independently when required
- Excellent written English
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
