Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Corporate & Funds team on a full-time basis in Jersey. The role involves the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of corporate and fund structures, particularly focused on real estate, venture capital and private equity. You will take a lead role in managing client relationships, working across structures such as Jersey Private Funds, joint ventures and club deals. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, client relationship management and the ability to support business growth.
Job Duties:
- Administer a portfolio of complex client entities with a focus on private equity, venture capital and real estate
- Maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring mutual understanding of expectations and delivering a high-quality service
- Liaise with third parties such as law firms, lenders, asset managers and other advisors
- Review company and partnership accounts, financial statements and management reports
- Apply a sound understanding of relevant tax considerations and regulatory obligations
- Identify and recommend improvements that enhance service delivery or client profitability
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries and service providers
- Support the development of new business through intermediary engagement and by identifying opportunities within the existing client base
- Keep up to date with market and regulatory developments relevant to offshore structures
- Understand and apply legislation relating to anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing and fiduciary regulation
- Report any operational risks, complaints or suspicious activity in accordance with local procedures
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and proactively identify areas for improvement
- Support corporate governance by promoting company values and contributing to strategic objectives
- Monitor and manage financial performance, including time utilisation, aged debt and profitability of client matters
- Contribute positively to team meetings, provide support to colleagues, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Engage in continuous professional development, maintaining a minimum of 25 hours CPD per annum
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience administering complex fiduciary structures
- Strong understanding of corporate and fund services, particularly Jersey Private Funds and UK-connected structures
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills and sound judgement
- Good understanding of compliance and the Jersey regulatory framework
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in fiduciary services
- Holds or is working towards a relevant professional qualification
- Must qualify as a Category C person under JFSC guidelines
