Trust Administrator

Our client is seeking a Trust Administrator to join their Guernsey-based team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will support the administration of a varied portfolio of trust and company clients, assisting with day-to-day tasks and ensuring service delivery is aligned with internal procedures and regulatory expectations. Job Duties:

  • Support the administration of a portfolio of trust and company structures
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain a professional approach with clients
  • Become familiar with the allocated client portfolio and internal procedures
  • Deliver timely and accurate client service across day-to-day administration tasks
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather and process required data and resolve queries
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Draft accurate communications including letters, emails, and meeting minutes
  • Adhere to internal controls and policies at all times
  • Manage own time efficiently with awareness of chargeable time
  • Proactively identify issues and escalate them to senior team members as needed
  • Take responsibility for ongoing personal and professional development
  • Work towards agreed training plans and performance objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Commitment to a career in trust and company administration
  • Willingness to study towards a relevant professional qualification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in high-volume environments
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload independently
  • Strong academic background
