Our client is seeking a full-time Officer to join their Funds & Institutional team based in Jersey. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and professional environment, supporting the delivery of high-quality fund administration services to a global client base. The role involves a wide range of administrative duties, as well as the chance to develop technical expertise and industry knowledge in a regulated financial services setting.
Job Duties:
- Assist with the accurate and timely delivery of fund administration services across a varied portfolio
- Support the day-to-day administration of client entities in accordance with internal procedures
- Contribute to meeting team objectives and key performance indicators
- Assist with preparation and review of board packs, minutes, resolutions, checklists, capital calls and distributions
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient correspondence with clients
- Monitor client bank accounts and assist with the preparation of payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring client procedures and policies are followed
- Respond to compliance queries and escalate risk issues where appropriate
- Assist with workflow management, internal reviews, and project tasks as required
- Oversee tasks completed by junior team members and provide guidance where needed
- Maintain client information and documents in line with data protection and confidentiality policies
- Participate in continual professional development and maintain awareness of regulatory requirements
- Provide constructive feedback and support the team in achieving a collaborative work culture
Job Requirements:
- Desire to study or be working towards ICSA Certificate in Offshore Finance and Administration or ACCA
- Preferably some understanding of the finance industry
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Good administrative, analytical and numerical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Professional, reliable, and resilient approach in a fast-paced environment
