Business Change Manager

Our client is seeking a results-driven Business Change Manager to join their organisation on a permanent, full-time basis, based in either Guernsey or Jersey. This role is key to leading and developing a team focused on driving operational efficiency, quality, and performance improvements. The successful candidate will manage and deliver key initiatives that optimise business processes, using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile to embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

Job Duties:

  • Lead and mentor the continuous improvement team, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and setting project priorities
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for improvement initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget
  • Analyse existing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimisation and increased productivity
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to redesign and streamline business operations
  • Use data analytics to identify trends and root causes of inefficiencies, supporting data-driven decision-making
  • Provide training and support to enhance organisational knowledge of continuous improvement practices
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Work closely with stakeholders across departments to drive engagement and adoption of improvement initiatives
  • Document and standardise revised processes to ensure sustainability and scalability
  • Remain current on industry trends and integrate relevant advancements into improvement strategies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in a continuous improvement, operational excellence, or process optimisation role
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a managerial position
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies; certification such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is advantageous
  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using data to inform decisions
  • Effective project management skills and the ability to handle multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Familiarity with tools such as Kaizen, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis
