Our client is seeking an Assistant Trust Administrator to join their private wealth and corporate services team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career in administration to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of client work. You will support the day-to-day administration of trusts and companies while developing key professional skills and receiving support to study towards a relevant professional qualification.
Job Duties:
- Prepare payment instructions and verify supporting documentation
- Perform call backs to confirm payment details
- Monitor incoming funds and issue confirmations
- Draft basic correspondence including emails, letters, and meeting minutes
- Assist with the opening of bank accounts and related documentation
- Maintain accurate client data and records on internal systems
- Handle safe custody items and general office filing
- Assist with completion of checklists and new business onboarding forms
- Support the collection of client due diligence and compliance checks
- Help prepare statutory and regulatory filings
- Provide support on internal review points
- Complete general administrative tasks including scanning, filing, photocopying, arranging couriers, scheduling meetings, and updating spreadsheets
- Answer phone calls and take messages for team members
- Ensure daily completion of timesheets
Job Requirements:
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
- Some previous office or administrative experience would be an advantage but is not essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with colleagues, intermediaries, and clients
- Confident telephone manner with excellent verbal and written English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Sound judgement and attention to detail
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn through professional qualifications and practical training
- Interest in understanding the services provided and the values of the organisation
- Basic knowledge of financial markets and offshore fiduciary services would be beneficial
