Our client is seeking a Pensions Administrator to join their private wealth team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of pension clients while contributing to the efficient delivery of a high-quality service. Job Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of a personal portfolio of pension clients
- Process complex investment transactions promptly and accurately
- Liaise with professional intermediaries to obtain and implement tax, legal and investment advice
- Maintain statutory records, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times
- Carry out periodic reviews in line with risk classification requirements
- Respond to queries raised as part of the Compliance Monitoring Programme
- Assist with the onboarding of new business in collaboration with the compliance team
- Process internal and external payments in line with procedures
- Manage fee collection and actively chase debtor positions
- Collate and review financial data related to client entities
- Monitor the ongoing suitability of appointed third parties, such as advisers
- Liaise with internal departments regarding accounting and tax matters
- Maintain regular communication with clients and intermediaries by phone and in writing
- Support junior staff with problem-solving and guidance when needed
- Adhere to scheme rules, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
- Proactively escalate any issues to your line manager
- Ensure compliance with internal risk and compliance procedures
- Deliver high-quality, timely service to all clients
Job Requirements:
- Ideally educated to A-Level standard or higher
- Previous experience managing a portfolio of clients is preferred
- Strong multitasking abilities and responsiveness to client and intermediary queries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Good numeracy and computer literacy
- A positive, proactive attitude
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Capable of meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
