Trainee Fund Administrator

Our client is a Guernsey-based, independent fiduciary and fund administration business specialising in the venture capital sector. They are seeking a Trainee Fund Administrator to join their experienced team on a full-time, permanent basis. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to begin their career in fund administration while working towards a professional qualification as part of a structured trainee programme.

Job Duties:

  • Assist with the day-to-day administration of fund clients, including venture capital funds, management companies and associated fund vehicles
  • Support the processing of fund operations such as inputting payments, preparing receipt packs, and managing investor changes
  • Maintain investor and fund records within internal systems
  • Contribute to company secretarial matters, including drafting minutes, board packs and reports
  • Respond to ad-hoc client requests and support the team with project work as required

Job Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good computer literacy and problem-solving ability
  • A clear desire to learn and a commitment to professional study
  • English and Mathematics GCSEs (or equivalent) are essential
  • A-level qualifications are preferred
  • Previous office-based experience would be beneficial but is not required
