Temporary Data Privacy Analysts - 6 months

Our client is seeking two experienced Data Privacy Analysts to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. These full-time roles will support the organisation’s legal entity Data Privacy Officer in the implementation of business and country-specific data privacy strategies. The successful candidates will be responsible for reviewing contracts, documents, and policies to ensure compliance with GDPR, data protection, and privacy regulations.

Job Duties:

  • Review and assess policies, contracts, and documents to ensure alignment with GDPR and internal data privacy policies
  • Support implementation of data privacy operating models and incident management plans
  • Maintain and enhance governance processes to meet regulatory and compliance obligations
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on data protection legislation and best practices
  • Conduct data privacy risk assessments and report on potential compliance gaps
  • Assist with the development and delivery of privacy training across the business
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including Group Data Privacy, Legal, Procurement, and Information Security
  • Compile and contribute to reports for internal committees and domestic data protection regulators
  • Participate in privacy impact assessments and contribute to regulatory universe consolidation efforts
  • Monitor changes in the regulatory environment and advise on risk mitigation strategies

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection legislation
  • Experience in reviewing contracts, policies, and documents for privacy compliance
  • First degree in Information Technology, Legal or a related field (postgraduate qualification preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, including 5–7 years in data privacy within financial institutions
  • Strong audit and compliance understanding, particularly in data privacy risk mitigation
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with information security, governance frameworks, and automation concepts
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
