Our client is seeking a Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst to join their team in Douglas, Isle of Man, on a full-time, fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role is central to delivering high-quality risk and compliance support across the organisation, ensuring robust frameworks and processes are in place to meet statutory and regulatory obligations. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert and play a key role in enhancing compliance standards and risk management practices.
Job Duties:
- Enhance and maintain the Compliance Management Framework to meet global standards
- Support the development and enforcement of compliance policies and procedures
- Provide technical guidance on risk, regulatory, and Anti-Financial Crime matters
- Deliver and support regulatory change in alignment with strategic business goals
- Lead compliance-related projects and contribute to the implementation of improved processes
- Prepare and deliver MI and compliance reporting
- Oversee and review Risk & Compliance registers to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support the delivery of business risk assessments
- Collaborate with teams to define, update, and communicate policies and procedures
- Draft and implement compliance flowcharts, procedures, and internal documentation
- Analyse compliance requirements and deliver practical, business-aligned solutions
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a varied Risk & Compliance role
- Diploma-level compliance qualification preferred
- Strong technical expertise in one or more compliance disciplines
- Experience in business analysis and regulatory environments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong report writing and presentation abilities
- High attention to detail and investigative acumen
- Excellent time management, planning, and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
