Our client is seeking a Fund Administrator to join their Transfer Agency team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing business, supporting the ongoing operations of various fund structures. The successful candidate will work closely with the Transfer Agency Manager, handling a broad range of administrative duties for daily dealing funds.
Job Duties:
- Reconcile client bank accounts
- Make payments to investors, agents, and process inter-account transfers
- Collate and process dealing instructions for each dealing day
- Assist with the calculation of front-end fees, redemption fees, and trail commission
- Check and issue contract notes
- Process stock transfers
- Open new investor accounts and review due diligence documentation
- Liaise with external parties including auditors, fund managers, and third-party administrators
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar fund administration role
- Professional qualification in a relevant financial area is advantageous but not essential
- Experience with fund administration systems, preferably Paxus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Organised, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrates a strong interest in financial markets
- Willingness to pursue further professional qualifications
