Fund Administrator, Transfer Agency Team

Our client is seeking a Fund Administrator to join their Transfer Agency team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing business, supporting the ongoing operations of various fund structures. The successful candidate will work closely with the Transfer Agency Manager, handling a broad range of administrative duties for daily dealing funds.

Job Duties:

  • Reconcile client bank accounts
  • Make payments to investors, agents, and process inter-account transfers
  • Collate and process dealing instructions for each dealing day
  • Assist with the calculation of front-end fees, redemption fees, and trail commission
  • Check and issue contract notes
  • Process stock transfers
  • Open new investor accounts and review due diligence documentation
  • Liaise with external parties including auditors, fund managers, and third-party administrators

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar fund administration role
  • Professional qualification in a relevant financial area is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience with fund administration systems, preferably Paxus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrates a strong interest in financial markets
  • Willingness to pursue further professional qualifications
